Chain Pop

Orbs drift through space. You get one blast per level — every orb it catches bursts too. Catch special orbs to supercharge the chain, pick a power-up every third clear, and survive the Swarm and Core rounds.

  • AimPress to see your blast, release to fire. Rings mark every orb you'll catch.
  • SpecialsBomb, Prism, Magnet, Clock and Fuse orbs turn a chain into a cascade.
  • Power-upsEvery 3rd clear, draft one of three upgrades. Three stars adds +2s.

About Chain Pop

Chain Pop is a chain-reaction puzzle. Orbs drift through space and every orb your blast catches explodes too, so a well-aimed shot can clear the screen.

How to play

  • Aim for tight groups or special orbs: Bombs blast wider, Prisms fire beams, Magnets pull orbs in, Clocks add time and Fuses give an extra blast.
  • Every third clear, choose one of three power-ups. Every fourth level is a Swarm or a shielded Core boss.
  • Start with 45 seconds and clear as many levels as you can. Bank leftover blasts for extra time.

Controls

Press on the field to see your blast radius, drag to aim and release to fire.

More about Chain Pop

Chain Pop rewards patience before you press. You get a single blast per level, so the whole game is about finding the one position where a first pop sets off the largest cascade. It trains spatial judgment: seeing clusters, estimating a blast radius, and predicting where drifting orbs will be when the blast reaches them.

Early levels are loose scatters with forgiving targets, and the first special orbs arrive from level 2. As you progress, orbs arrive as clusters, vortex rings and lanes, and every fourth level is a Swarm of small fast orbs or a Core boss that must be broken by a chain. Every third clear you choose a power-up, so by mid-run your build matters as much as your aim.

Scoring and progress

Your score is the total number of orbs you pop across the run, which has a 45-second clock. Each level has a target, with two and three stars awarded for larger percentages of the orbs. Three stars adds 2 seconds, and breaking a Core adds 4. Your grade combines levels cleared, your best streak of cleared levels and Core kills. Each difficulty has its own best score.

Common questions

What happens if I miss the target on a level?
On a normal level you retry it and your streak resets. On Swarm and Core levels the game moves on to the next level instead. The clock keeps running throughout.

Does the clock run while I pick a power-up?
No. The clock is paused while the draft is open, so you can read the choices without losing time.

What changes with difficulty?
Orbs drift faster on higher difficulties, the blast gets smaller, and the Core needs more hits to break: 4 on Easy, 5 on Medium and 6 on Hard.

Tips and strategy

  • Wait for the best moment. Orbs drift, so a second of waiting can turn two small groups into one large one.
  • Aim for special orbs inside groups. A Bomb has a giant blast, a Prism fires 6 beams, and a Magnet pulls orbs in, so each can multiply a good chain.
  • Bank leftover blasts. Each unused Fuse adds 1.5 seconds when banked, which is better than firing a low-value shot.
  • Pick power-ups to match your style. Big Bang widens the opening blast, Long Burn lasts 40 percent longer, and Overtime gives 5 seconds immediately.
  • Treat Swarm levels differently. The orbs are smaller and move faster, so perks that widen your blast help more than precise aiming.
  • Plan for the Core. On those levels the goal is hitting the Core with your chain instead of popping every orb, so aim the first blast toward the center.
