More about Chain Pop
Chain Pop rewards patience before you press. You get a single blast per level, so the whole game is about finding the one position where a first pop sets off the largest cascade. It trains spatial judgment: seeing clusters, estimating a blast radius, and predicting where drifting orbs will be when the blast reaches them.
Early levels are loose scatters with forgiving targets, and the first special orbs arrive from level 2. As you progress, orbs arrive as clusters, vortex rings and lanes, and every fourth level is a Swarm of small fast orbs or a Core boss that must be broken by a chain. Every third clear you choose a power-up, so by mid-run your build matters as much as your aim.
Scoring and progress
Your score is the total number of orbs you pop across the run, which has a 45-second clock. Each level has a target, with two and three stars awarded for larger percentages of the orbs. Three stars adds 2 seconds, and breaking a Core adds 4. Your grade combines levels cleared, your best streak of cleared levels and Core kills. Each difficulty has its own best score.
Common questions
What happens if I miss the target on a level?
On a normal level you retry it and your streak resets. On Swarm and Core levels the game moves on to the next level instead. The clock keeps running throughout.
Does the clock run while I pick a power-up?
No. The clock is paused while the draft is open, so you can read the choices without losing time.
What changes with difficulty?
Orbs drift faster on higher difficulties, the blast gets smaller, and the Core needs more hits to break: 4 on Easy, 5 on Medium and 6 on Hard.
