More about Quick Escape
Quick Escape is a race against a short clock, not a puzzle you can think about forever. You get 30 seconds, and the mazes you finish keep adding time. Each maze is generated fresh, so the skill is reading the paths at a glance and committing to a route, rather than memorizing a layout.
Mazes grow over the run, starting smaller on Easy and larger on Hard, and rising toward a larger cap on every difficulty. Deeper in, a torch lights only the area around you, and Hard starts in the dark. Some mazes lock the exit behind a gold key placed on a side branch, so you need a detour before you can leave. Rarely a blue gem appears and gives time back.
Scoring and progress
Your score is the number of mazes escaped, with a best saved for each difficulty. Each maze can earn up to three stars: one for escaping, one for beating a par time based on the length of the shortest route, and one for finishing without a wall bump. Beating par adds 2 seconds. A bump costs half a second on Easy, one on Medium and one and a half on Hard. Grades from S to D depend on mazes escaped.
Common questions
Are there lives?
No. Walls only cost time, and the clock ending the run is the only way to lose.
What does Unlimited do?
It removes the 30-second clock so you can keep going until you press End run. It has its own leaderboard and caps XP at 200.
How do I move on a phone?
Swipe across the maze or use the on-screen d-pad. On a computer use the arrow keys or WASD.
