More about Brick Blitz
Brick Blitz is breakout with several layers of risk. Tough bricks, explosives, sliding and healing bricks change how you aim, and the Warden boss changes what you are aiming for. It trains angle control and patience, because the best shots are the ones that send the ball behind the wall, not the ones that bounce straight back.
Early levels are generous and slower, which lets you learn how the paddle position controls the angle. Around level 2 explosive bricks start to appear, and from level 5 gold bricks need two hits. By level 7 moving bricks are tougher and some bricks heal, so you need to finish areas instead of leaving them half done. Ball speed rises with each level, and every fourth level the Warden shoots bombs while you try to hit its core.
Scoring and progress
Break bricks without touching the paddle to build a combo. Every 5 breaks adds ×0.5 to the multiplier, up to ×3. Clearing a level gives 100 times the level number, and a Warden is worth 500 times its tier. Your grade depends on the level you reached, from C at level 2 up to S at level 8, and each difficulty keeps its own best score. Easy has a wider paddle and slower ball.
Common questions
How many balls do I have?
You start with three, and an Extra ball capsule can add one more, up to five. Multi-ball capsules create temporary extra balls, but they do not add to your lives.
What do the capsules do?
Multi-ball splits the ball, Wide enlarges the paddle, Laser fires bolts, Fireball burns through bricks, Slow-mo slows the ball and Catch holds it on the paddle. Shrink is the only harmful one.
When does the boss appear?
Every fourth level is a Warden boss level. You must hit its core while avoiding its bombs, and defeating it drops the wall and gives bonus points.
