How to score
Hold to drift — slide sideways; in a bend, hold the inside side or the curve pushes you out. Drifting fills the meter: half = x2 coins, full = DRIFT BOOST (x3 coins, smash through cars).
Coins +10 — chain them for combo bonus (x2 at 5, x3 at 10).
Near miss +5 — leave a car's lane at the last moment.
3 hearts — a crash costs one and your combo. Lose all three and the run ends.
Finish +10 per heart — reach the 30-second flag with hearts left. A rare heart pickup restores one.

About Drift Dash

Drift Dash is a 30-second arcade racer. You drive through night traffic, switching lanes to dodge cars and collect coins while the pace keeps climbing.

How to play

  • Coins build a combo: ×2 at five in a row and ×3 at ten. Leave a car’s lane at the last moment for a near-miss bonus.
  • You have three hearts. Each crash costs one and your combo; lose all three and the run is over. A rare pink heart wins one back.
  • Reach the 30-second flag for +10 points per heart left. The speed steps up every 6 seconds.
  • Hold a side to drift. Bends push you to the outside unless you hold the inside; drifting fills the drift meter for x2 coins and, when full, a DRIFT BOOST that smashes through traffic.

Controls

Tap the left or right side of the road, or press the left and right arrow keys, to change lane. Hold to drift. Taps stack, so a quick double-tap crosses two lanes.

More about Drift Dash

Drift Dash is a game about reading the road ahead. You are always choosing between safe, boring lanes and the riskier ones that hold coins, near misses and the drift meter. Because the run is only 30 seconds long, there is no time to settle in. Every lane change has to be planned a beat before the traffic arrives.

The start is a gentle warm-up where coins are easy to collect. The speed steps up through five levels, each about 1.12 to 1.5 times the starting speed, so the same gap between cars gives you less time to react. In the last seconds you are managing a full combo and a drift boost at once, with very little room for a wrong move.

Scoring and progress

Each coin is worth 10 points, rising to 12 with a ×2 multiplier and 15 with ×3. A near miss adds 5 points, and each heart left at the finish flag adds 10. The multiplier is the higher of your combo (×2 at five coins, ×3 at ten) or your drift meter (×2 at half full, ×3 during a boost). Easy, Medium and Hard keep separate bests. Grades from S to D depend on score thresholds, and S also needs a crash-free finish.

Common questions

How many crashes can I take?
You start with three hearts. Each crash costs one and resets your combo, and you are briefly protected afterward. A rare pink heart can win one back.

Why do the cars get faster?
The pace steps up every 6 seconds, in five steps. Higher difficulties also start faster and put more cars on the road.

How do I use the drift?
Hold the left or right side of the screen to drift in that direction. Drifting through bends and passing close to cars fills the drift meter, which gives double coins at half full and a boost when full.

Tips and strategy

  • Build your combo before you build risk. Reaching five coins in a row raises every coin from 10 to 12 points, and ten raises it to 15, but a crash resets the combo to zero and the combo also runs out if you wait too long between coins.
  • Slide to the next lane at the last safe moment to earn a near miss. It is worth 5 points and also fills the drift meter, and drifting makes the reward bigger.
  • Hold the inside of a bend. Bends push the car toward the outside, and drifting through them fills the meter faster than driving straight.
  • Save a full drift meter for a crowded stretch. The DRIFT BOOST lets you smash through a car without losing a heart, though that hit scores no points.
  • Do not chase every coin. A crash costs a heart and your combo, so skipping one coin to keep a clean line is often better.
  • Keep your last heart safe in the final seconds. Each heart left at the finish flag adds 10 points, so arriving with three hearts is worth 30.
