More about Gravity Flip
Gravity Flip turns a runner into a timing puzzle. Your character always moves forward, so the only choices are which surface you are on and when to switch. The skill is anticipation: you flip based on what is coming in the next second, not on what is in front of you now, and you use hover to hold a steady height through a gap.
A run lasts 40 seconds or until all three hearts are gone. The first obstacles are single spikes and short steel blocks, then the course adds gates, jaws, twin mines and drones, some of which move up and down on Medium and Hard. Speed rises with distance, and the scenery changes through four zones: Neon Foundry, Deep Space, Crystal Caves and Solar Core.
Scoring and progress
Your score is the number of amber gems collected. Each difficulty keeps its own best, and the results show cleared obstacles, near misses, best streak and hearts left. A near miss happens when you pass an obstacle with only a small gap. Grades use difficulty-specific gem targets, and the top two grades also require you to finish the run with hearts remaining. A new zone starts every 10 cleared obstacles.
Common questions
Can I flip while in the air?
Yes. A tap flips gravity at any moment, even mid-air, which lets you reverse and bob between the floor and the ceiling. Holding fires hover thrusters that slow your vertical speed.
What counts as a near miss?
You pass an obstacle with only a very small clearance and without touching it. A short flash shows CLOSE when it happens, and the total appears in the results.
Do I always get the full 40 seconds?
Only if you keep at least one heart. Losing all three ends the run early, and the score is still the gems you collected.
