Gravity Flip

Your runner sprints on its own. Tap to flip gravity and sail through the open middle — tap again mid-air to reverse and bob, or hold to fire hover thrusters and float. Steel blocks are platforms: land on them or bump their undersides, just never fly into their red front face. Spikes and mines cost a heart on touch; lose all three and the run ends. Sweep up amber gems through four zones.

About Gravity Flip

Gravity Flip is a runner game where you control gravity instead of jumping. Your runner sprints on its own; flip gravity to sail between floor and ceiling, hover in the middle or land on platforms.

How to play

  • Tap to flip gravity at any moment, even in mid-air, and hold to hover.
  • Steel blocks are platforms: land on their top or bump their underside safely, but flying into their front face ends your run. Spikes and mines hurt on any touch.
  • Collect amber gems for your score and clear obstacles for a streak.

Controls

Tap or click to flip, hold to hover. On a keyboard, use Space or the up arrow.

More about Gravity Flip

Gravity Flip turns a runner into a timing puzzle. Your character always moves forward, so the only choices are which surface you are on and when to switch. The skill is anticipation: you flip based on what is coming in the next second, not on what is in front of you now, and you use hover to hold a steady height through a gap.

A run lasts 40 seconds or until all three hearts are gone. The first obstacles are single spikes and short steel blocks, then the course adds gates, jaws, twin mines and drones, some of which move up and down on Medium and Hard. Speed rises with distance, and the scenery changes through four zones: Neon Foundry, Deep Space, Crystal Caves and Solar Core.

Scoring and progress

Your score is the number of amber gems collected. Each difficulty keeps its own best, and the results show cleared obstacles, near misses, best streak and hearts left. A near miss happens when you pass an obstacle with only a small gap. Grades use difficulty-specific gem targets, and the top two grades also require you to finish the run with hearts remaining. A new zone starts every 10 cleared obstacles.

Common questions

Can I flip while in the air?
Yes. A tap flips gravity at any moment, even mid-air, which lets you reverse and bob between the floor and the ceiling. Holding fires hover thrusters that slow your vertical speed.

What counts as a near miss?
You pass an obstacle with only a very small clearance and without touching it. A short flash shows CLOSE when it happens, and the total appears in the results.

Do I always get the full 40 seconds?
Only if you keep at least one heart. Losing all three ends the run early, and the score is still the gems you collected.

Tips and strategy

  • Plan two obstacles ahead. A flip takes time to complete, so decide where you will land before you leave the current surface.
  • Hold to hover in the middle lane when a line of gems runs through the center. It is safer than flipping back and forth.
  • Use steel blocks as platforms. Land on the top or bump the underside to collect gems placed on them, and never touch the red front face.
  • Accept the early shield. Your first hit in the first 15 seconds is shielded, so you can test a risky route at the start and learn the layout.
  • Protect your hearts after the opening. Each crash costs one heart, and a streak is reset by a crash, so a safe pass is worth more than a risky gem.
  • Watch for moving gates and drones on Medium and Hard. Time your flip to when they are near the middle, not to where they were a moment ago.
