How to play

Tap an answer before the ring runs out. A wrong or late answer costs a heart, and losing all three ends the run. Bank the run any time for +20 per heart left.
From three in a row, each correct answer earns bonus points, and every 10 in a row wins a heart back. Questions move up from Warm-up to Tricky to Expert.

Quick Quiz is built for fast recall. Questions come from seven categories: Geography, Science, Nature, Space, Numbers, Sports and Culture. The game avoids showing the same category twice in a row when it can, so you are always switching topics, and it keeps track of which questions you have already seen so repeats are rare.

Every question has a difficulty tier, from Warm-up to Tricky to Expert. Easy and Medium start on Warm-up and move up as the run goes on, while Hard begins on Tricky. The answer ring also shrinks as you get more correct, so a long run is as much about staying calm under a shorter clock as it is about knowing the facts.

Scoring and progress

Every correct answer is worth 10 points. From your third correct answer in a row you also earn a streak bonus of 2 points that grows by 2 each time, up to +10. You start with three hearts and can hold up to five. Easy, Medium and Hard each keep their own best score, and the grade from S to D depends on the score you reach, with higher thresholds for the easier levels. XP scales with difficulty, hits, streak and the highest tier you reached.

Common questions

Do questions repeat in a run?
No question repeats within a run. The game also tracks the questions you have seen, and a tier only starts repeating once every question in it has been shown.

How do I get hearts back?
Every 10 correct answers in a row wins back one heart, up to a maximum of five. A miss resets that streak.

What does the Bank button do?
It ends your run on purpose and adds 20 points for each heart you have left. You tap it twice to confirm, so you will not bank by accident.

Tips and strategy

Think about banking early in a strong run. Banking adds 20 points per heart you still have, so ending with three hearts is worth 60 points, which equals several correct answers.
Chase 10-answer streaks. Each one earns back a heart, up to the five-heart maximum, and the streak bonus is already at its +10 cap by then.
If you are unsure, eliminate answers rather than waiting. The ring does not stop while you think, and a late answer costs a heart just like a wrong one.
Expect the clock to tighten. The ring shortens with every correct answer and with a hot streak, but harder tiers get a little extra reading time, so do not panic on a long Expert question.
After a miss the game eases you back one tier until you rebuild a streak of 3. Use that stretch to settle down and rebuild your rhythm.
Use the category chip on each question to switch gears quickly. Each category has its own color, and knowing which topic is coming helps you recall faster.
