Stack It

A block slides above your tower — tap to drop it. Only the overlap sticks, so sloppy drops shrink the tower. Chain PERFECTs to grow it back. Timed: your tallest tower in 30 seconds is your score. Endless: one tower, no clock — how high into space can you go?

About Stack It

Stack It is a block-stacking timing game. A block slides back and forth above your tower, and you drop it so it lands on top.

How to play

  • Only the part that overlaps the block below stays; the rest is sliced off, so the tower narrows. Three PERFECT drops in a row grow the block back.
  • Miss completely and the tower topples. Your tallest tower in 30 seconds is your score.
  • 2 Players take turns: each builds one tower per round on the same block speeds and the taller tower takes the round, best of 3. Not ranked.

Controls

Tap anywhere on the tower or press Space. In 2 Players, pass the device between turns.

More about Stack It

Stack It is a rhythm-and-precision game disguised as a tower builder. Every block you drop teaches your eyes and thumb to agree on one moment, and the whole game is about repeating that moment accurately while the blocks get quicker. It trains timing, patience and the ability to stay relaxed when the pace increases.

The tower grows through named zones: Street level, Rooftops, Cloud line, Night sky, Stratosphere, Low orbit and Deep space, and the background changes color as you climb. The block speeds up with every floor, so early floors are a chance to build a wide base, and later floors test whether you can keep landing exactly on the edge.

Scoring and progress

In a timed solo run, your score is the height of your tallest tower in 30 seconds. If a tower topples, you start a fresh one and the best tower still counts. Easy, Medium and Hard keep separate bests and differ in starting speed and how fast the block accelerates. Grades run from D to S based on your tallest tower, with 15 or more earning an S, and XP scales with the difficulty. Endless mode has no timer, ends on the first topple and keeps its own floors record.

Common questions

What happens if I miss completely?
If the block does not overlap the one below at all, the tower topples. In a timed solo run you start a new tower and your tallest one still counts. In Endless mode the run ends.

What is the difference between Timed and Endless?
Timed gives you 30 seconds and scores your tallest tower. Endless has no clock and ends at the first topple, and it keeps its own floors record with no XP.

How does 2 Players work?
Players take turns building one tower per round on the same block sequence, and the taller tower wins the round in a best-of-3 match. It is a local game and is not ranked.

Tips and strategy

  • A drop counts as PERFECT when the block lands within a hair of the edges, and it snaps into place with no slicing. Aim for the exact alignment instead of just close.
  • After three PERFECT drops in a row, each further PERFECT makes the block a little wider again, up to its original width. Chaining perfects early gives you a bigger target for the harder floors.
  • Watch the block's position instead of the top of the tower. Tap just before the edges line up, as your reaction time makes late taps drift to one side.
  • In a timed run, a topple is not the end. A quick restart on a new tower is usually better than hesitating, because only your tallest tower counts.
  • Do not rush the first few floors. They are the slowest, so use them to find your tapping rhythm, then keep the same rhythm as the speed climbs.
  • If a drop misses badly, a narrow block is still playable. Keep dropping carefully rather than trying to fix it with a risky move.
